INTRODUCTION

Childhood psychological disorders are common in the community and are found to have associations with great difficulties in managing them. Hence, early identification and recognition of the common psychological problems in children such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), autism, learning disabilities and mental retardation are important for the care providers to seek for the appropriate intervention as early as possible. No doubt that good parenting skill becomes essential to aid them to cope with the special children with special needs.
